Complaints and Appeals

Appeals

An applicant for certification may formally request the SCA to reconsider any adverse decision SCA has made related to desired certification status by following the Appeals Procedure.

Appeals to the SCA should be addressed to the SCA Manager at appeals@scacompliance.com.au

The matter will be referred to the Governing Committee and to the Appeals Panel who will undertake the Appeals process.

Any decision made by the Appeals Panel will be reviewed and approved by the Governing Committee Board Chairman and reviewed for impartiality by the Impartiality Panel.

Complaints

SCA aims to maintain the highest standards of service. However should you find it necessary to complain about SCA or one of our Licensees we will follow the process outlined in our Complaints Procedure.

Complaints to the SCA should be addressed to the SCA Manager at complaints@scacompliance.com.au

Where necessary and as defined in the Rules, the matter will be referred to the Governing Committee where the complaint involves SCA staff.

Any decision made by the SCA Manager to be communicated to the complainant will be reviewed and approved by the Governing Committee Board Chairman and reviewed for impartiality by the Impartiality Panel.
